This Privacy Policy governs the website and online services owned and operated by BioHealth Dermatology ("BioHealth Dermatology") at https://www.biohealthdermatology.com/ (the "Site"), including interactive features, widgets, plug-ins, and other online services available through the Site. This policy describes BioHealth Dermatology's collection, use, and disclosure of information obtained through the Site.

BioHealth Dermatology is a HIPAA-covered entity. This Privacy Policy does not govern BioHealth Dermatology's handling of patient protected health information (PHI), which is subject to HIPAA, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), and BioHealth Dermatology's separately maintained Notice of Privacy Practices. BioHealth Dermatology reserves the right to modify this policy at any time by posting an updated version on the Site with a revised effective date. 2. Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, BioHealth Dermatology automatically collects certain technical information, including your domain name, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time on Site. This information is used in aggregate form to improve the Site.

6. California Residents — CCPA and CPRA Rights

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants California residents specific rights regarding personal information that is not otherwise governed by HIPAA or CMIA:

  1. Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information BioHealth Dermatology has collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the third parties with whom it has been shared.
  2. Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information BioHealth Dermatology has collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  3. Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information BioHealth Dermatology holds about you.
  4. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Direct BioHealth Dermatology to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide requested services.
  5. Right to Non-Discrimination: BioHealth Dermatology will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA/CPRA right.

To exercise these rights, submit a verifiable consumer request to BioHealth Dermatology's Privacy Officer (Section 10). Requests may be made on your own behalf, on behalf of your minor child, or through an authorized representative registered with the California Secretary of State.

BioHealth Dermatology will respond within 45 days, or up to 90 days if additional time is required with written explanation. BioHealth Dermatology does not charge a fee to process requests unless they are excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

7. California Medical Information — CMIA

As a California physician practice, BioHealth Dermatology is subject to CMIA (Civil Code § 56 et seq.), which provides California patients with additional rights regarding their medical information. BioHealth Dermatology will apply the more protective of federal or California standards in all cases. Patient rights under CMIA, including rights of access, amendment, and the protection of sensitive services information, are described in BioHealth Dermatology's Notice of Privacy Practices.

8. Children's Privacy

BioHealth Dermatology does not knowingly collect personal information through the Site from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Children under 13 are not permitted to use the interactive features of the Site.

If BioHealth Dermatology becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, it will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has submitted information through the Site without your consent, contact BioHealth Dermatology's Privacy Officer at the information in Section 10.
